Usui Method of Natural Healing

Translated from Japanese, Reiki (pronounced Reiy Key) means “Universal Life Energy”

Rei = Universal, Ki = Energy.

This is the innate vibrational energy from the Universe that surrounds and resides inside each and every one of us. Matter is animated and given life by Energy, so Reiki, essentially, is Universal, Intelligent Energy, the most fundamental and highest vibration in life.

Usui Reiki Ryoho follows the lineage passed down from and traced directly back to Mikao Usui (1865-1926). Through his experiences, travels, deep meditations, and learnings, he rediscovered the ability to channel this energy for the benefit of all, going on to create the foundation to teach this method and treat with it.

If you allow Reiki to be channelled into you, your life can be positively impacted in all aspects—physical, emotional, mental, and even spiritual. The practitioner does nothing other than channel Reiki into you by placing hands lightly on, or hovering them over various areas of your body, for your best and highest good.

Your body will decide what best to do with this vibrational energy, whether it be healing an ailment, balancing emotions, clearing trauma-related effects, finding clarity, strengthening intuition, or just calming/rebooting the entire nervous system. Reiki is not about fixing; it’s about allowing the body to heal itself.

Reiki can be received in person or even distantly, where you can remain in the privacy of your own home for the treatment.

Distance Reiki is based on the ancient Hermetic Law of Similarity, which maintains that being formed of energy, and part of a greater whole, we are all connected. During a distance Reiki treatment, the practitioner can connect to the recipient’s energy field by invoking this law. Because Reiki is Universal, it knows no time or space confines and can be channelled for your benefit in this way (always with prior consent, of course).

This is done to your preference, remaining connected via Facetime or Zoom so that you can be brought back around by the sound of a chime.

What happens during a session:

You may feel tingling or heat. You may just feel deeply relaxed. You may even fall asleep. You may see colours or visions/memories. You may feel vibrations. You may feel nothing at all but notice, over the next few days, things changing positively in your life. You may feel a wide variety of emotions welling up. Any or all of this and more, are simply your energetic body’s way of communicating, and it is entirely personal to you.
